Our Amazing Forest – Here children can pretend to be lumberjacks, forestry or construction workers while they let off a little steam climbing in and out, over and through this child sized skidder in our very own forest. Sponsored by the Kennett Corp.

Ball Area – Watch them roll, make them move! Here children can experiment with a variety of ways to make balls move including air power, the force of gravity, even kid power! Whether they enjoy watching balls move, pushing them around, or designing their own track, kids will be having so much fun, they won’t even realize that they are learning about the laws of motion and discovering scientific principals. Sponsored by Abbott's Ice Cream.

Puppet Theater and Stage – Using puppets, dress-up clothing and other props children can let their creativity soar as they put on shows for one another or simply get lost in their own imaginations. Custom design and build of theatre and stage donated by Olof and Sharyn Ekberg.

Ed Emberley’s Corner – It’s not just a big book, it’s a super big book! Turn the pages of a giant version of Ed Emberley’s book, Go Away Big Green Monster and watch that monster appear and disappear before your very eyes! Once you’ve enjoyed his creative pictures, create your own on our Picture Pie Velcro wall. Here even the most timid artist can learn how to create fantastic images from simple shapes using the methods outlined in several of Emberley drawing books. Valley Wall – On a carpeted area of wall reflecting a mountain scene, children (and adults!) can rearrange the buildings and landmarks of our village to tell stories, explore our Valley and create their own fantasy town. Ever Changing Table – The ever changing table is an exhibit where you never know what you will find. Each week we change the theme and make different activates available for the kids visiting the Museum. Arts, crafts, music, play dough, seasonal activities... it can all be found at the Ever Changing Table.

Infant and Toddler area – Here children 0-3 and their caregivers can play, explore or just be together in an area designed just for them. Sponsored by: Bob and Jean Murphy Family Fund, Marshall Family Fund, and Anna B. Stearns Fund. .
