Calling all 13 year olds and up! If you have extra time, we need you. We need you here assisting in play, face painting, crafting, organizing and other fun, wonderful things too numerous to count!
We do require all volunteers submit to a background check. Safety first!
We are recruiting members of our community that love our children’s museum and want to see it grow. The commitment at its base level is attendance to a monthly meeting, committee work and applying your expertise to benefit our organization. Bankers, lawyers, moms and dads, teachers, accountants, business professionals, craftsmen are all needed to make our children’s museum successful. Our executive director, Shelly Morin would love to talk to you about involvement. Call 356-2992 for more information or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The most important need is keeping our museum running smoothly. That means we need people who would lovingly clean, sort, organize and develop our space. This is a weekly commitment for most but monthly for others. We have even had quarterly cleaning parties who have worked to help us to effectively clean our space. Museum volunteers also include helpers in our craftroom, readers, floor attendants and front desk greeters. Just call 356-2992 for more information or email email@example.com.
We are busy making plans and would love help. Contact us at 356-2992 to get involved.
Feel free to download and print out one of our volunteer applications here for an adult or teen, and stop by during hours of operation!
Junior Board Council
This is a civic club for great local kids who want to learn more about volunteering and giving back to their community. The Junior council is for children ages 11-14 or grades 6-8. Meetings are on a monthly basis in the evening. The last 15 minutes will incorporate the parents so they can be updated on upcoming projects and accomplishments. This is a well-structured, vision driven club. Only kids who are serious about community involvement and volunteerism should come to the meetings, this is fun, hands-on to be involved with the MWVCM and Valley. The club director is Shelly Morin, e.d.
